About Us

Welcome to New Zion Missionary Baptist Church

Our Mission

At New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, our mission is to glorify God through worship, discipleship, and service. We are committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, nurturing spiritual growth, and fostering a loving and supportive community. Through faith, prayer, and outreach, we strive to uplift individuals and families, meet the needs of our neighbors, and share God's love with the world. Our goal is to be a beacon of hope, unity, and transformation, leading souls to Christ and equipping believers to live out their faith with purpose and conviction.

Word of the Week

“Blessed be the Name” ~  SOURCE OF ETERNAL SALVATION FOR ALL WHO OBEY HIM

“And, once made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him.”   ~ Hebrews 5:9 (NIV)

In our continuing effort to stamp out all types of illiteracy

Financial principles from THE MANUAL:

(re: poverty)*

"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich." ~  2 Corinthians 8:9 (NIV)

Folklore suggests that poverty is next to spirituality. Wrong! There's no inherent virtue in property. There are dishonest poor just as there are dishonest rich. God never impoverished anyone because of his or her spirituality. Therefore, there is no way Christians can attain spirituality by impoverishing themselves or their families.
